Look-See Room:

Look-See Room is used when doing interviews. We place the subject on the camera left or right side of the frame depending on where they are looking. We then have room to put an object or image between the subject and the other side of the frame. In sports, the team logo is put into the empty space.

Tip: If you want to give the feeling that the person is trapped, put them at the edge of the frame that they are looking towards.

Tip: When shooting a scene with two people talking to each other, make sure to give them room as they look at each other. Sometimes an over the shoulder shot is good to use in conversations to add a different perspective and make the movie more interesting.
