White Balance Filters:
When video taping, you need to decide which white balance filter to use based on your light source. Different filters have different effects on the look of the film. If you use the wrong filter then you may alter the image. If the image is not what you planned, you may have to re-shoot.

Indoors:
The light source is a tungsten light bulb. (Please note florescent light is not tungsten.)

Outdoors:
The light source is the sun.

TIP: Keep in mind that the camera uses the terms indoor and outdoor but it really means sunlight and tungsten light. Below is someone sitting indoors, but the sun is the light source. The best filter for this shot is the outdoor (sunlight) filter.
